This picture is of my grandfather. The strongest man I know. He fights for his life on a daily basis, living with Stage 3 Lung Cancer, a pace-maker, Diabetes, and many more health problems. He also beat Prostate cancer. But, through it all he is holding on. And that is all that matters.

Your photograph captures so much emotion and tells such a story that I had to spend a few minutes to take it all in. My favorite part is how you have the xray positioned in the area where those parts are in a body. It just gives greater context than seeing an xray on it's own or beside somebody.
Excellent timing with taking the shot. You captured your grandfather's expression perfectly; it is timeless. One can just feel everything he has gone through.
Just a tiny suggestion: including the entire xray in the photo would help. It's cropped off corner is an insignificant distraction though. In this case, having the xray held higher is probably best (as extending the photo's height dimension would throw off the photo's flow/composition)
Overall, nice composition. Adding the bottles in the background adds even more to the story. Same for the contrast and lighting. Looks great
This is an excellent photograph! Thanks for sharing and I hope your grandfather is doing well
I can't say I am feeling much to this man as I am a healthy person. but I still feel very sad seeing such. though I can say I have felt this pain before sorta. I had a grandmother I loved so very much on my father's side lost to cancer as well. every time I saw her she acted if she wasn't hurting. very nice picture here for your grandfather. clean backround with no blur. very nicely taken image. I really can't say much on this more that doesn't show itself though. it's a very nice picture that shows what you love very much in pain. I'm so sorry for your grandfather.
This actually brought tears to my eyes. I know what this is like, and it isn't fun. But holding on is the hardest thing a person can do, so your grandfather is very strong. Best of luck to him and your family. Hang in there, girl.
